Corporate Litigation

One of the aspects of Pels Rijcken's corporate practice is to litigate disputes within companies. This work encompasses a wide variety of disputes and dispute resolution.

Many such lawsuits relate to directors' liability, both internal and external, while others concern disputes between the company and its shareholders. Some of these disputes are litigated by means of inquiry proceedings before the Enterprise Chamber in Amsterdam. Our work also includes squeeze-out proceedings, and we regularly deal with disputes arising from shareholder agreements.

We frequently advise and litigate on disputes between companies and their management, in the fields of both employment law and corporate law. The relationship between the supervisory board and management board members also forms the subject of advice and dispute resolution on a regular basis.

Our Corporate Litigation practice entails handling disputes about shares and depositary receipt structures, the conversion of depositary receipts into shares, the restructuring of such structures and, last but not least, disputes concerning the nationalisation of (financial) companies.
