Ameer Muhammad joined the Corporate Law department in 2013, branching out to the Innovation, Privacy & Technology Department in 2018. Ameer operates at the intersection of civil and financial law and has a special interest in the digitisation of the financial market. Ameer regularly litigates on subjects involving contracts, liability and compensation, both on the claimant’s and on the defendant’s side. He also advises on the interpretation of and compliance with financial legislation. He represents companies, public authorities and regulatory authorities.
Ameer obtained his master’s degree in Corporate Law from Leiden University, and graduated in Securities Law from the Grotius Specialisation programme in 2017.
