Carel van Swaay advises corporates and financial sponsors on national and cross border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and corporate governance matters. He has extensive experience with controlled auctions and national and cross border M&A transactions. Carel also regularly advises the Dutch government on state owned enterprises.
He received his master’s degree in Financial Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam and completed a postgraduate programme in mergers and acquisitions at VU Amsterdam. He is fluent in English and French.
