Carola de Rond was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 2010 and joined Pels Rijcken’s Administrative Law team in 2016, specialising in oversight and enforcement, with a focus on the financial sector. Carola represents clients, especially regulatory authorities, in proceedings involving enforcement decisions taken by them.
She studied Dutch law at the University of Groningen, earning a BA in International Organisations & Relations. She successfully completed the Grotius programme in Business and Liability. Carola previously was with Houthoff Buruma, where she was involved in matters relating to financial oversight and insurance and liability law. She is a regular contributor to professional journals, and blogs about administrative law matters on our Administrative Law Blog.
