Cees de Zeeuw has been a member of the notarial profession since 1993. He joined Pels Rijcken in 1999 and was appointed civil-law notary in 2001. As civil-law notary and corporate law specialist, Cees de Zeeuw has extensive experience with transactions and advising parties on corporate law issues. He advises companies, administrators and regulatory authorities on collaboration, internal structure and division of powers. He is often sought out by healthcare institutions, cooperatives and mutual guarantee societies for his expertise on these governance issues. Cees has an extensive practice for healthcare institutions, health insurers and other parties in the healthcare sector. He advises and structures merger processes, among other things, and applies his extensive knowledge of regulations in the healthcare sector in practice. And he has a particular interest in innovations in law and healthcare, including the legal aspects of blockchain and e-health. In addition to his healthcare practice, Cees also acts for family businesses, branch organisations and charities. He is a member of the board of the Rembrandt Association.
Cees obtained his master’s degree in Dutch Law and Notarial Law from Leiden University and began his career at De Brauw.
