Chouaib Kouidar has worked as a lawyer in Pels Rijcken's Administrative Law section since 2020. He advises and litigates on diverse and complex cases in the field of general administrative law. In that area, he assists the State, central and decentralised administrative bodies and regulators, among others. Chouaib has a feel for the political-administrative and social context of a case. Public liability law, human rights and the international influence of administrative law are themes that have his particular attention. For instance, Chouaib wrote his master's thesis on the European influence of the principle of confidence.

Chouaib completed the bachelor's and master's degrees in law at Leiden University. For his obtained study results during the bachelor he received the Legatum Böckelmannianum. He completed the master's specialisation in constitutional and administrative law cum laude. During his studies, Chouaib was already working as a student assistant at Pels Rijcken. In addition, he was fiscus of the study association linked to the master's degree in constitutional and administrative law and he chaired an internal complaints committee at a major Dutch employer.
