Claire Huijts

Claire Huijts joined Pels Rijcken’s Employment and Public Service Law team in 2016. She advises and litigates in cases involving integrity issues, equal treatment and dismissal. Claire has a particular interest in employer liability, international affairs and Business Human Rights. Her clients include public and private sector organisations.

Claire graduated cum laude with a BA in Liberal Arts & Sciences from University College Utrecht and a master’s degree in Dutch Private Law from Utrecht University. During her studies, Claire completed trainee programmes in the legal profession and at the Human Rights Study and Information Centre of Utrecht University. She studied in the United States and interned at the Dutch embassy in Washington D.C. She is fluent in written and spoken English. Claire is a member of the Dutch Civil Servants and Law Association (VA&R) and the Young Employment Lawyers Association (VJAA) and is a regular contributor to our Employment and Public Service Law Blog.
