Claire Wiltink joined Pels Rijcken’s Supreme Court and Civil Procedural Law departments in 2016. She is specialised in tax law and has experience in state taxes as well as taxation by local authorities. Claire primarily represents Dutch ministries and local authorities, regularly litigating for the State Secretary for Finance, the Tax and Customs Administration and various local authorities.
She earned BA degrees in Law and Tax Law, and graduated cum laude with a master’s degree in Tax Law from Leiden University. As a member of the finance committee, Claire represents the Young Litigators Association (VJP). She is also a member of the Dutch Tax Science Association (VWB) and the Dutch Association for Lawyers and Tax Experts (NVAB). Claire is a regular contributor to our Supreme Court blog www.cassatieblog.nl and writes a chronicle for Tax Magazine every year.
