Floor van der Lecq has worked as an attorney-at-law in the Corporate Law department since 2021. He is part of the Litigation & Arbitration practice group and is involved in the general civil litigation and arbitration practice. Floor has experience with civil cross-border disputes, including class actions. He litigates on a wide variety of matters, such as diesel engine emissions, foreign exchange transactions and natural gas drilling. Furthermore, he acts as secretary in arbitral proceedings before the Netherlands Arbitration Institute.
Floor completed his master's degree in corporate law and private law (cum laude) at Utrecht University. During his studies he gained experience in the legal profession and in the judiciary. After his studies, Floor worked as a lecturer in private law, also at Utrecht University. He is editor of the Ars Aequi KwartaalSignaal media law and member of the Dutch Corporate Litigation Association.
