Floris Sepmeijer joined Pels Rijcken in 2004. As adviser and as litigator, Floris has a broad civil-law real estate practice, working both for the corporate sector and governments. He has a particular focus on tenancy law, purchasing real estate and 'caravan camp' cases. Floris also has a special interest in long-term leasehold. He frequently represents public authorities in civil law proceedings on ground rent revisions and the validity of general leasehold conditions. Floris is noted for being committed and effective, and his approach to cases is always practical and solution-oriented.
Floris regularly lectures and writes about topics pertaining to real estate law and gives courses and presentations to clients. He received his master’s degree in Dutch Civil Law from Utrecht University and also studied at the University of Toulouse, France. He completed the Grotius Specialist programme in Real Estate Law cum laude. Floris is a member of the Dutch Real Estate Lawyers Association and the Agricultural Law Association.
