Frank Oranje has been conducting a broad notarial practice for national and international companies, government authorities and not-for-profit organisations since 1988. He specialises in the law of legal entities and corporate law. Frank has extensive experience in shaping corporate governance within companies and institutions, overseeing (healthcare) mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and joint ventures. In addition, Frank is the civil-law notary of numerous national and international charitable organisations (ANBIs) and high-net-worth individuals. As a civil-law notary, he represents numerous WCAM foundations and has extensive experience in the application of the Claim Code in the assessment and settlement of mass claims. Frank has been managing partner of Pels Rijcken since 1 January 2018.
Frank obtained his master’s degree in Dutch Law and Notarial Law from Leiden University and began his career at Loeff Claeys Verbeke. Frank is a member of: the Dutch Joint Committee for Corporate Law, Netherlands Bar Association, Royal Notarial Association, Dutch International Law Association, Dutch Commercial Law Association (Vereeniging Handelsrecht), and The Hague Society for Legal Professionals (Haags Juridisch Genootschap). He was a board member of the Jacob Hartog Foundation in 2007 and the Voorlinden Foundation in 2014. He also served on the Board of Governors of Business and Law Research Centre, Faculty of Law of Radboud University Nijmegen in 1997 and the Committee for Corporate Law of the Royal Notarial Association in 2000.
