Gerard de Jongh has been with Pels Rijcken since 2015. He is part of the litigation practice of the Corporate Law department where he is primarily involved in a broad practice with an emphasis on insolvency law and liability law. His practice includes advising and litigating on directors’ liability, disputes concerning attachment and enforcement, liability in class action suits, financing structures and security rights. Gerard mainly acts for the Dutch government, financial institutions and (large) companies.
He obtained his master’s degree in Dutch Private Law from the University of Amsterdam whilst working as a clerk at the District Court of Amsterdam. Gerard is a member of various professional associations, including the Dutch Corporate Litigation Association and the Young Insolvency Lawyers Association.
