Hans joined Pels Rijcken as Chief Information Security Officer on September 2021. With Hans arrival, Pels Rijcken was able to obtain its ISAE 3000 type I and II assurance statement. He has over 35 years of experience in information security. In his role as a business consultant he guides a wide range of organizations in the field of information security. In recent years he has mainly assisted organizations in the field of certification (ISO 27001) or assurance statements (ISAE 3xxx type I and II). He also works on interim basis as CISO for several companies. Advising and guiding organizations to create a positive support base for renewed policies also belongs to his skills. In addition to this expertise, continuity management, archiving and data management belong to his field of work. He started his career at the Ministry of Defence.
