Hidde Volberda joined Pels Rijcken in 2022. He works as an attorney-at-law in Pels Rijcken’s Criminal Law and Supreme Court Law divisions since 2022. Within the Criminal Law division he represents government authorities such as the Netherlands Public Prosecution Service and the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security. In the Supreme Court Law division he advises and litigates in cases covering the full range of civil (procedural) law.
Hidde graduated cum laude from the Legal Research Master at Utrecht University. Before that, he received his bachelor's degree in law from the Utrecht Law College (honors program) and his bachelor's degree in philosophy (cum laude). During his studies Hidde gained experience in legal practice as an intern and student-employee at Pels Rijcken. He also worked as a student assistant at Utrecht University.
