Ikram El Mourabit

Ikram el Mourabit has been working as an attorney-at-law with Pels Rijcken since 2022. She advises and litigates in Private and Administrative Law, especially in the field of Environmental Liability Law and Government Liability Law. Ikram represents various governments and companies in liability proceedings involving a variety of current social issues such as climate change, air quality, (soil) pollution and hazardous substances that have a negative impact on human health and the environment. Ikram is particularly interested in the application of human rights to environmental and government liability cases.

Ikram studied Dutch Law at Tilburg University, where she completed her bachelor with honours. She obtained her master’s degree in Private Law with a specialization in Liability Law at Utrecht University, where she also worked as a university lecturer in Private Law. Ikram gained experience within the legal profession, first-line legal aid and she worked for more than four years as a court clerk at the Court of Appeal in The Hague.
