Jules de Kort

Jules de Kort has been with Pels Rijcken since 2016. He represents governments in various administrative law dispute settlement proceedings. The theme Public Order and Undermining is one of his spearheads. Jules represents municipalities in proceedings involving provisions from the General Municipal By-Law (APV), Article 13b of the Opium Act, decisions based on the Public Demonstrations Act (WOM) and emergency warrants and orders. In addition, education and subsidy law are of particular interest to Jules. In migration law cases, Jules represents the Dutch State Secretary for Justice and Security and the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service.

He obtained his master’s degree cum laude in Constitutional & Administrative Law and in Public Administration at Utrecht University. Jules is a member of the VAR Administrative Law Association and the Dutch Education Law Association (NVOR).
