Karin Lemckert joined Pels Rijcken in 2018 as a senior candidate civil-law notary in the Real Estate department. Karin has broad experience in all facets of the notarial real estate practice and specialises in (corporate) real estate transactions and property development. She advises and assists both public and private parties in complex real estate transactions with regard to existing property as well as (re-)development and new construction projects. She also prepares all the necessary agreements and deeds, such as the (turnkey) purchase agreement and deed of transfer, often combined with the necessary deeds for division into apartment rights, leasehold rights and rights of superficies and the creation of security rights. In her advice she takes into account not only all the legal and fiscal aspects of real estate, but also the actual (future) use. In many cases she works closely with Pels Rijcken's attorneys.
Karin received her master’s degree in Dutch Notarial Law from the University of Leiden. She started her career as a candidate civil-law notary at (then) Trenité van Doorne in The Hague. Subsequently, she was a candidate civil-law notary in the field of real estate at Houthoff in Amsterdam and The Hague for a considerable period of time, and later at Van Benthem & Keulen. Before joining Pels Rijcken in 2018, Karin was a candidate civil-law notary at HVG Law LLP in The Hague. Karin is a member of The Hague Ring of the Royal Notarial Professional Organisation and of the Dutch Lawyers Association for Apartment Rights (Juristenvereniging Appartementsrecht).
