Laura Verhees joined Pels Rijcken’s Spatial Planning and Environment department in 2022. She is specialised in environmental law and focuses on environmental protection, nature conservation and infrastructure.
Laura graduated cum laude from Leiden University, where she obtained her Masters of Law degree with two specialisations: Constitutional and Administrative Law and Public International Law. Additionally, she spent a semester in Vancouver, while studying law at the University of British Columbia. During her studies, Laura already worked for Pels Rijcken as an intern. She also gained work experience at an NGO and an environmental law firm.
