Marlies Witting has been working as a lawyer at Pels Rijcken since 2015. She advises and litigates in the field of liability and compensation law, focussing in particular on personal injury. Within these fields of law, she mainly represents public authorities and insurance companies.
Marlies studied at Utrecht University, where she completed her master's degree in Private Law cum laude. She followed the Excellent Master's programme, an honours programme aimed at strengthening academic skills. In 2020 she successfully completed the LSA/Grotius personal injury specialisation course. Marlies is a member of LSA, the association of personal injury attorneys, and of VJPP, the association for young personal injury professionals.
