Raf Vermolen joined Pels Rijcken’s Spatial Planning and Environment team in 2016, where he focuses on spatial planning law, environmental law and enforcement. He assists clients, including the Dutch government, provinces and municipalities, in preparing and defending spatial planning decisions. His daily practice includes socially important issues such as energy transition, waste products and urban developments. He is driven, approachable, solution-oriented and dedicated.
Raf studied Dutch Constitutional and Administrative Law at Utrecht University and graduated cum laude. During his studies, he worked as a student assistant at Utrecht University. Raf is a member of the editorial team of TMGA, Tijdschrift voor Gezondheidsschade Milieuschade en Aansprakelijkheidsrecht (Journal for Health Damage, Environmental Damage and Liability Law) and a member of the Dutch Administrative Law Association (VAR).
