Ruben de Graaff has been a lawyer with Pels Rijcken since 2020. He works in the Cassation department, providing advice and conducting court cases covering the full range of civil (procedural) law.
Ruben studied civil law and European law at Leiden University. He then worked as a PhD candidate and lecturer in the civil law department of the same university. He obtained his doctorate in 2020 with a thesis on concurrence in European private law. Ruben lectures and publishes regularly. He is a contributor to the Nederlands Tijdschrift voor Burgerlijk Recht [Dutch Civil Law Journal] and the Groene Serie Onrechtmatige Daad [Green Series on Tort].
