Sara van Winzum joined Pels Rijcken's Space and Environment department in 2019. Her focus includes environmental protection, soil protection, infrastructure and enforcement. Sara is noted for her attention to detail, enthusiasm and commitment.
Sara received her master's degree cum laude in Dutch Constitutional and Administrative Law from the University of Utrecht, with a focus on Environmental Law. She also obtained her master's degree in Dutch Criminal Law from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. During her studies, Sara interned at the Rechtstelefoon in The Hague. She also was a student assistant at Pels Rijcken, where she worked on the book Bodemnsanering in juridisch perspectief (A Legal Perspective on Soil Remediation).
