Wiecher van Lingen

Wiecher van Lingen joined Pels Rijcken's Employment and Public Service Law department in 2014. He litigates on all aspects of employment relations, advising on matters involving dismissal, employee co-determination, and integrity. Wiecher also regularly advises on the Executives' Pay (Standards) Act. Since 2020, Wiecher has been seconded part-time to a Ministry where he gives legal assistance on various files. 

Wiecher studied Dutch Private Law and Business Law at the University of Groningen. During his studies, Wiecher chaired the Board of the Faculty Association, worked as a teacher and gave communication training at the General Law Faculty, and worked for a legal research agency. Wiecher recently completed the postgraduate programme in Employment Law. He is a member of the Civil Servants & Law Association (VA&R), the Dutch Association of Employment Lawyers (VAAN) and the Dutch Young Employment Lawyers Association (VJAA). Wiecher is editor-in-chief as well as a regular contributor of our blog Arbeids- en Ambtenarenrecht.
