Wouter Admiraal joined Pels Rijcken’s Corporate Law department in 2007 as a candidate civil-law notary. He has extensive experience in advising companies and public authorities on corporate law issues. Wouter regularly advises on entering into and changing collaboration agreements, corporate governance issues and public shareholding. Moreover, he has extensive experience in overseeing mergers and acquisitions of companies. Having a mediation background, Wouter has a keen eye for the interests of all directors and supervisors, employees and shareholders involved in organisations. Wouter is often sought out by governments as consultant for (re)structuring joint schemes and setting up public incentive funds. Wouter is characterised by a practical disposition and a no-nonsense approach to cases.
Wouter studied Management, Economy and Law at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and went on to earn a master’s degree in Dutch Notarial Law from Leiden University. He also completed the Grotius programme in Corporate and Business Law cum laude and the basic training as an NMI-registered mediator at the ADR Institute in Amsterdam. Before joining Pels Rijcken, he worked as a candidate civil-law notary at DLA Piper for four years. Wouter previously served as Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Netherlands Society for Industry and Trade, Supervisory Board member of the Young The Hague Foundation, and of the Dutch Association of Young Junior Civil-Law Notaries.
