Arnoud Boorsma

Arnoud Boorsma werkt sinds 1995 als advocaat bestuursrecht bij Pels Rijcken. Sinds 2004 is hij als partner aan kantoor verbonden. Zijn praktijk is volledig gericht op het bijstaan en adviseren van overheden. Zijn expertise ligt in het bijzonder op het terrein van toezicht en handhaving en regulering met een focus op de financiële sector, de mediasector en de telecommunicatiesector. Arnoud staat onder andere de AFM, DNB en het Commissariaat voor de Media veelvuldig bij in bestuursrechtelijke procedures. In die procedures draait het met name om toezichts- en handhavingsvraagstukken waaronder de publicatie van sanctiebesluiten. Door zijn sterke communicatieve vaardigheden vormt hij voor veel cliënten het vaste aanspreekpunt.

Binnen Pels Rijcken is Arnoud samen met Marije Batting verantwoordelijk voor de brede toezichts- en handhavingspraktijk van kantoor. Arnoud is docent voor Grotius Opleidingen. Hij was tot 1 januari 2018 lid van het dagelijks bestuur van Pels Rijcken. Hierdoor heeft hij een extra gevoel voor de vaak complexe vraagstukken waar bestuursorganen voor staan. In de Chambers Europe Guide wordt Arnoud al jaren gerankt in Band 3 voor Public Law en in The Legal 500 Guide is hij gerankt als Other Key Lawyer voor ICT recht, en Media and Entertainment en als Recommended Lawyer en Other Key Law voor Telecoms.
